Why I started Edusphere
I’m Kush Chugh, the founder of Edusphere Private Limited in Faridabad. I started it in February 2026 because a private college’s academic day sits in too many places. Edusphere puts that day in one system, built for internals, the 75% attendance line and semesters. Outside work, I play badminton at international tournaments.
What I kept seeing
Ask the people who run a private college where the academic day lives. The answer is rarely one place. Attendance sits in registers or spreadsheets. Internal marks sit in another file. Notices go out on group chats. Course material travels by email or pen drive.
None of this is anyone’s fault. It is what happens when tools are made for some other kind of institution. Indian colleges run on internals with weightage, the 75% attendance line, sections and semesters.
What we built
Edusphere puts the academic day in one system. It covers timetables and notices, attendance, internal marks, exam results, course material and AI study material. It works on mobile for students, phone or laptop for faculty, and a web console for the office.
Faculty get their own timetable and calendar. They see the attendance and marks of all their students. Their class notices and announcements reach students as notifications.
The AI part is practical. Students get summaries, flashcards, practice questions and a glossary. Each study set shows the upload and date it came from. It is included in the college’s annual total, with no separate AI charge.
How we work with a college
We don’t hand over a login and a manual. We set up the whole college ourselves and train every department’s faculty in person before go-live. The whole college is live within four weeks of the day we receive its spreadsheets. Go-live falls between exam windows.
What matters is in writing before anything starts: the go-live date, the annual total and our commitments. Edusphere never charges students. The college owns its data, and its data is deleted when it leaves. A college can stop at the end of any semester, with 30 days’ notice and no exit fee.
What Phase 2 adds
Phase 2 adds fees and payments, payroll and HR, library, hostel, transport, accreditation reports such as NAAC, parent access and an AI chat assistant. Each is optional, on terms agreed in writing when it is ready. Until then, that work stays where it runs today.
